Meet the florist

My Name is Katy Gale, thanks for checking out my florist page! My work as a florist budded in 2014 when I offered to help a friend with “whatever she needed” for her wedding. I was shocked, but up for the challenge when she asked me to do her wedding flowers. After doing it, I was hooked! Now, many bouquets later, I still love working with DC brides to make their wedding day dreams come true. I've recently expanded to floral design for other events, not just weddings.

Behind the name praiseworthy Petals

"Praiseworthy Petals" has several layers of meaning. First, I hope that the flowers will cause you & your guests to gush about their beauty & that they truly will be worth of praise.

Ultimately, the beauty of marriage & of the flowers themselves points to the bigger beauty of the God who created them…The one who is truly worthy of praise. The God of the Universe is the one who invented anything beautiful or lovely; I'm just re-creating that beauty.
